It was sweltering on Saturday (at least for the adults at the shoot), but the weather seemed to agree with beautiful baby A - she was as cooperative as could be, so here's hoping she was comfortable! Tanner, A's "big brother" (can a dog be a big brother???), doesn't seem to mind having his territory encroached upon, and was happy to pose with the new addition to his family. Thanks for all your help, Grandma C. (Grandpa was busy with his new iphone) - it was great to have your help getting A in and out of her various wardrobe changes.

Maternity & Newborn Photography

I'm so excited! This weekend I attended an AMAZING maternity & newborn photography workshop in Manhattan with the energetic and oh-so-talented Ana Brandt. While Lady Gaga's fans and followers (in some of the funkiest getups I've ever seen) flocked to Madison Square Garden (we were in the next block) for her concert on Friday night, OUR seminar was packed with tips and ideas for creating stunning portraits of beautiful mamas and sweet new babies. I can't wait for my upcoming maternity and newborn sittings!!!! Baby A (just born this weekend - whoo hoo!), Baby J and Baby G, I'm so looking forward to photographing you in the next few days. Thanks to my fellow photographer friend, Jessica Higgins, for your kind hospitality - it was so much fun being able to attend this seminar with you.
